Deb Bohannon has been the HR, Marketing and Media Manager for Bolin Enterprises since 2012. Deb joined the Chamber Board in 2023 with the merge between the Big Things in a Small Town board and the Chamber. Previously, she was a Chamber Board member from 2012-2015. Deb is also a Local Workforce Innovation Board Member for area 23.
Deb and her husband reside in Effingham. They have two children and four grandsons.

Dori is the owner of The Traveling Mug coffee shop in Casey established in 2019. She is a Volleyball Coach in Cumberland and has coached for 7 years and been in business for 5.
She and her husband reside in Casey.
Deb Black has been the owner of Deborah's Attic in Casey for 8 years. Before that, she was employed for 28 years at EIU as a Construction Project Coordinator in Design & Construction. Deb has been a Chamber Board member for 7 years.
Deb and her husband reside in Casey. They have been married for 54 years and have two children, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Tom Daughhetee became the City of Casey’s Economic Development Director and joined the Chamber Board in July 2024. Previously, Tom worked for more than a decade in corporate finance for CNA Financial in Chicago and, most recently, was the Director of Development & Production for The Froebe Group, an editorial services company in New York City. Tom is also the current President of Friends of the Casey Township Library.
Tom resides in Casey.
Jim Bolin has been Vice-President of Bolin Enterprises in Casey for 38 years. Jim is actively involved in the community through the Chamber, County Board, Airport Board, Booster Club, Moriah Church Board, and LWIA CEO Board.
Jim resides in Casey with his wife, son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren.
Shani is the owner of The Little Things of Casey, LLC. Prior to opening a storefront in 2023, she was a teacher and coach for 9 years. Shani lives in Casey with her husband and 3 kids.
Amy has more than 20 years of banking experience and currently works for First Neighbor Bank.
Amy resides in Casey.
Tara is the Corporate Talent Acquisition Manager for Amphenol Charles Industries and resides in Casey with her husband and their 6 children.
Charles (Chuck) Ayers is a retired farmer from Douglas County. He currently works as The Community Relations Coordinator for the Moonshine Solar Park, being developed by edp renewables.
Phyllis is the Vice-President for Preferred Bank. She has been in the banking industry for 42 years, with 17 of them at Preferred Bank. She was part of the Chamber board from 2007-2008 and rejoined the board in 2024. Additionally, Phyllis is on the board for the Autumn Festival in Marshall and is the treasurer for Friends of the Library in Marshall.
Phyllis and her husband reside in Marshall, IL, along with 4 golden retrievers that are registered therapy dogs, 3 mini horses, a mini donkey and a mini mule.
Laci operates Hometown Butchershop, one of several family owned businesses in Casey. Aside from working in the with her family, she is also the worship leader at Casey First Church of the Nazarene, and serves on the finance committee there as well.
Laci resides in Casey with her husband and 3 children.
The Casey Chamber of Commerce, established in 1936, has been a networking tool for local businesses and a catalyst for economic growth since its inception. Understanding that community spirit and togetherness is vital for a thriving business atmosphere, the Chamber supports community events and local entities, including businesses, community groups and our schools. The Chamber depends on the participation and support of local businesses and individuals to continue its efforts to grow, improve and support the community of Casey.
